Irvine Welsh - Edinburgh born novelist, playwright and filmmaker - counterculture legend. His most notable piece of work, Trainspotting, is considered one of the greatest books out of the UK in the past 30 years and has become a cult classic. Irvine talks about his past and his current exploration of projects, from his influences for writing, a newfound love for touring acid house music, along with a quick anecdote about standing up David Bowie not once, but twice.
